^^Listen … do ya wanna know a secret ~~~maybe Alice will tell some ??????????โก๏ธ
To this day Alice surprises me with stories of Fanny on the road, and we shall get to them.
Maybe, just maybe you’ll hear some from June, Jean and Nickey as well….Ya never say never!
That would be cool
Awesome, thank you!!
You are welcome!
Thanks, Ramon, we’ve got a lot in store for the future “chats,” which I guess they call podcasts these days!
Alice rocks!! Always love to hear her cool stories!!
Yes, she does! Thanks for listening!
Alice rocks!! Always love to hear her cool stories!! Thanks also Byron for the hard work and loyalty you continue to bring to Fanny!! You are a huge part of it as well. Thank you!
First, you’re welcome! Second, helping Fanny reach new and old fans alike was our goal when Alice and I started this website back in 2006, and all those years of work are finally paying off. I’m glad you liked the podcast!
Kevin, I’m not the only one in the band with stories, and Dr. K and Byron have a few to share as well will June and Jean, and maybe, just maybe, even Nickey!
That would be excellent! ๐
What a fun first episode! I’m so glad to be a part of this with Alice and Byron!
From a 55yr old brand new Fanny fan, thanks for putting this together. A fun listen!
Listening through Mother’s Pride at present! Great stuff. Diving into the podcast now!
Cool! “Mothers Pride” doesn’t get enough attention as it’s an excellent album.
Would love to hear your feedback on the podcast! Let us know what you think!
Jim, Mother’s Pride has some of my favorites. I don’t know when we’ll get to it, but we’ll get to it! Who knows where this journey will take us. Dr. K, Byron and I are along for the ride!
I loved this! My first ever podcast!! Lovely to hear Alice, Byron and โDr Kโ taking so informally and candidly. Hereโs to many more casts about Fanny… thinking up questions as I write! x
Thanks for listening and we look forward to your questions!
Thanks for listening! We are already having so much fun!
Just Found Fanny – Love the Music
Welcome to the party!
?
If you just found Fanny, Bill, you’ve got a lot to catch up with. Stay tuned for more fun, and as Byron said, welcome to the party!
I’d like to learn more about Alice’s Camco drums and how she came across getting them? Did Fanny have any sponsors that supplied instruments? Amps? Also I love the song Rock Bottom Blues and would like to learn more about it and how it was written. I have so many questions I dont know where to start! lol
These are great questions! We will make sure that Alice sees it, and we will definitely talk about this on the podcast. Thank you!
Looking forward to it! ๐
Kevin, I suggest you right them down and send them in. We’re now active on Twitter (@rocks_fanny) and Instagram (@fannyrocks_1970), as well as the FannyRockBand FB page and here on the web site. I did LOVE my Camco drums, so stay tuned. We’ll get to your questions at some point as we “cast our pod!”
Thank you Alice! ๐
My dad just introduced me to Fanny a couple mouths ago. I am now a big fan. I noticed from pictures and videos of Alice drumming that she holds her stick in her left hand at the tip. I was wondering how this came to be?… Should I be doing this? Anyways, really cool you guys are doing this.
As I said on youtube I think Fanny’s Hey Bulldog is better than the original. I also think their cover of Badge is better.
Thanks, Mr. Steel,
I like our versions as well. Like minds?!!!
Alice
I absolutely agree with you about both songs. I also think their cover of “Ain’t That Peculiar” is better, and that’s saying a lot, since I’m a huge Marvin Gaye fan.
I concur. Goes for “Dream I Had Last Night’ as well.
What a fun podcast. Extremely interesting and nice inside look at this part of Rock history. Great chemistry with the 3 of you.
Welcome to the celebration of Fanny’s music and members!
Hi, my sweet friend!
I’m glad you finally punched your ticket for this fun ride!
Love you,
Alice
Just discovered fanny. Great band
